Only ⏰24 Hours To Go - 550% Funded!

Thank you for the incredible outpouring of love and support over the last 24 hours! Just wanted to drop a quick line to say that we read all of your messages, and we're feeling very very lucky to be supported by such a wonderful group of people <3

There's a bit of back-end setup and such to do in the final hours before the campaign wraps, so we won't have anything super exciting to report over the last day, but we're just very excited to be on this adventure with you all! Also, 550%!!!

All our love,

Daniel and Juno 🪶

⏰Final Countdown: 500% funded with 48 Hours To Go!
5 months ago – Tue, Nov 04, 2025 at 11:18:22 PM

Hi everybody!

The countdown is on - we've got 48 hours remaining til the campaign ends! We wanted to drop a little update with some more shipping info as we head into the final stretch :)

But first, a celebration - we've just hit 500% of our funding goal!!

We're absolutely overwhelmed in the best way at the support and love you've shown 'Isle of Feathers' - the campaign has gone better than our wildest hopes, and we cannot wait to get the game in your hands. Thank you for making 'Isle of Feathers' real. <3

Mini Update: Shipping Timeline

Thanks heaps for your question N; we wanted to respond properly so the info's there for everybody! We're continuing our talks with fulfilment companies, and now are able to provide more solid estimates than previously.

Our working assumption is indeed that the fulfilment process will have started and be underway in January 2026. Based on the info we now have, however, the process of delivery may be longer than we first anticipated, but we'll keep everybody updated on how the ships are progressing throughout the entire process. This is our first crowdfunding campaign, and freight logistics by sea is a complex area that we're navigating for the first time. Please know what we're doing everything we can to get you updated timelines, and you'll be in the loop every step of the way. Thank you for your understanding, and if you've got any questions at all please drop us a line!

The Final Countdown!

If you'd like to further support the campaign over this last stretch, we would love it if you could share 'Isle of Feathers' with somebody who you think might like it! Word-of-mouth makes a bigger difference to first-time Kickstarter creators than anything else. If you think one of your friends or loved ones might like what we're making here, consider dropping them a line.

Thanks again to everybody for supporting us over the campaign so far - we're so excited to count down the hours with you all!

All our love,
Daniel and Juno 🪶

📆Final Countdown: 5 Days To Go!

📆Final Countdown: 5 Days To Go!

Hi everybody!

The final stretch has begun - there are only FIVE days left until the end of the campaign, and we wanted to give a little progress update!

What We're Working On: Rulebook Updates & Logistics

Our current focus is the updated rulebook, which has undergone a substantial revamp. Thanks to the fantastic feedback we've received to date (an extra-special shoutout to Río Robayo for her feedback), the updated rulebook will feature brand-new graphics, placement examples, and a substantial reworking of the text copy throughout the booklet. We're confident that these changes will create a far cleaner, streamlined teach, and we're very excited for you to see it!

As we've mentioned previously, we're continuing to work on providing more accurate shipping estimates, with our current focus primarily being the Asia-Pacific region. Just so you're aware, shipping is not charged at the end of the campaign, and is instead handled via Backerkit, and will be charged at a later date when fulfilment begins. If you're still waiting for an updated shipping rate, please be assured that we'll continue to work on the rates beyond the end of the campaign, and we'll keep you all updated as we go. If you've got any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to reach out to us!

Life Update: Storm Season Is Here!

We're just coming into the summer storm season here in South-East Queensland; in the last week we've had severe hailstorms and torrential rain, and it's created a fair bit of disruption around the city. Being Brisbane locals this isn't our first rodeo and we're lucky enough to be living just outside the usual flood zones. However, it's not unusual for us to lose power during severe weather (we just unabashedly use the time to play boardgames by candlelight :D ). Just in case we're a little slower on the replies this week, we just wanted to give you a heads up that this may be why.

A Very Special Shout-Out

We were lucky enough to get a lovely mention earlier this week from Tommy, Marc, and Samuel, the creators of 'The Dawn of Pangaea'. Just like us, their campaign is also in its final 5 days. This is extra special for us because Tommy's previous game, 'Forests of Pangaea' has been enormously influential on our own design practice. Seeing a game with such striking table presence, beautiful components, and such dedication to sustainable manufacturing back in 2021 was a source of constant inspiration to us, and a pretty big part of what inspired us to start our own journey making 'Isle of Feathers'. It's absolutely wonderful (and a little surreal) to be able to share a Tommy's latest game with you in our own campaign, especially one that is so beloved by so many people across the world. If you haven't had the chance yet, please check out this incredible game - we absolutely can't wait to get our hands on it :)

Thank you again to everybody for supporting our game, and to everybody who's taken the time to write to us - it means the world to us. And if you have any questions at all, especially about shipping and logistics, please don't hesitate to ask - we'd love to hear from you!
